Many farmer organizations and business associations lack a strong leadership and a shared vision in order to drive an internal process of change. To respond to this, Trias has developed LEATRA, a leadership trajectory. This long-term trajectory (1 year to 1 ½ years) allows participants to gradually appropriate the teachings. LEATRA supports leaders to be able to inspire people, create a vision and guide a group to commit to a change process within their organization.

Trias has developed a participatory tool for diagnosis, support and progress monitoring – SPIDER – which aims to empower member based organisations in their organizational and institutional development. SPIDER is short for Strengthening Partners In Development through Empowerment and Reflection.
